my car music system got broken

Today morning at around 6'O clock somebody rang my door bell.
Irritated to be woken up so early, i came to knew that someone has broken my new car's back window pane to steal my music system. :(

Things broken:

1) Window Pane
2) AC duct
3) Music system
4) Indicators were also not working in the morning.

How I feel, terrible. :(
My DH is now at service station to get the car repaired.
And I am waiting for the bill.

Unexpected expenses just pop up unexpectedly and in sad sad way.

World's Changing Economy

Global economy is changing for sure. As two of the major headlines in TimeOfIndia,

"Ratan Tata eyes US Market with revamped NANO" and "Toyota banks on India for Growth".

Yes that's true. Indian Companies are all set to storm the world and world's best companies has realized that India is THE next destination.

Auto Expo 2010 - Summary

India is a market of small cars. It is the market that was dominated by Maruti at one time primarily because there were no other players in the market. Then came Hyundai and now Santro and i10 are among favorite Indian Small Cars along with Maruti 800, Wagon R, Zen and Swift. Last year TATA launched Nano, a proud Indian small car.

This year auto expo just proves that world knows that India is going to be Hot market in coming years and that's the reason Auto Expo 2010 has so many small cars from Huge Car manufactures from all across the globe.

Few of the names that have bent the rules to make small cars for India are:

1) Our very own Maruti Suzuki
2) Toyota
3) General Motors
4) Honda
5) Volkswagen
6) India's proud TATA Motors
7) HYUNDAI

Also, there are various luxury cars and SUV being launched in Auto Expo 2010.

India's journey has just begun and I am once again proud to be an Indian.:)

Car bought in Down Payment

Setting a goal and achieving same gives Out Of World Joy and Ecstasy. After successfully saving for my studies, I achieved one more financial success that I wanted to mention here. I succesfully saved in cash for my new Car and bought my new car. Yup, it's a new I10 in white color.

• I saved religiously for it for last 8 months.


• I spent almost 2 days and roamed around all the dealers in Delhi to get the quotes. This made sure that all dealers understood that I am not here to do window shopping but am really serious for purchase.


• When I got the best deal, i tried calling all other dealers and politely asked them if they can match/beat this deal. This served two purposes, 1) I double checked that I am getting the best deal if no other dealer could actually match it. 2) If any other dealer could give me a better deal, I would have saved even more.


• Then I booked the car and initiated series of cheques to collect all my funds in one account to order a DD. I didn't pay in cash because I am really scared of fake currency. :(


• After one week, I paid the DD and got the car.

And now, I am a proud owner of a brand new car without any debt.
